My back is hurting more than usual these days. I think it’s because of stress. The pain is travelling down my back and to my hamstring now. I just wish this pain would go away. It’s more annoying than anything else.
I wish all this rain would go away too. Remember last year when we were all praying for rain? I can’t remember more than two consecutive days without at least some rain.
The retreat starts today. I have to leave work early to prepare for it. You know, I can’t remember the last retreat I went to where I wasn’t organizing something or doing some sort of job during it. Retreats are rarely that for me. It’s more work than anything. Maybe I should just stop going to them.
My cousin is coming from San Diego to visit next week. I’m looking forward to that. She’s in town on business and is going to stay the weekend. I hope it’s not raining the entire time.
I need a vacation – a real one.
