Mind Reading: Solution

This is the solution page to the “Mind Reading Trick” entry.

It’s actually a pretty simple trick because there are only a total of 8 possible answers…

between 0 and 50 seems like a lot, but it’s not given the conditions…

with the “two digit” condition you remove numbers 0-9

with the “odd digits” condition you remove 20-30 and 40-50 and every even number

with the “non-repeating” you remove 11 and 33

and thus you are only left with 13, 15, 17, 19, 31, 35, 37, and 39

for some odd reason people don’t pick numbers that end in 1 or 9 and rarely numbers in the teens

so you’re only really left with 35 and 37.

and by saying “35… no, 37” you cover your bases.
